Plain of Thessaly 1958… Three sisters. One of them is forced to marry against her will. A rape. A murder and a big secret.
Eleni (Maria Kitsou), Asimina(Elli Trigou) and Droso (Danai Michalaki), after their father’s death are trying to survive in the tough patriarchical society ot the Thessalian plain. Dukas (Leonidas Kakouris), is the major land owner of the area. He wants to marry his son Sergios (Andreas Konstantinou), with Eleni, the eldest of the three sisters. Eleni accepts the proposal, although very unwillingly, because it is the only way the sisters can pay the debts they owe.
On the wedding night the three sisters will have blood on their hands. They kill the groom who is trying to rape the youngest sister. They all swear to carry the secret to their grave. The corpse is however discovered and the local society will be devastated. The game has now changed.
Eleni, Asimina and Droso must now do everything in their power to keep the truth from coming to light.Will they succeed ? The all-powerful family of the victim is searching for the real murderer and are set upon getting revenge.
In the previous episode we saw that a telegram from the Ministry gives the final verdict about the industrial zone. Which side will prevail in this long standing war? Lambros decides to tell Eleni that he wants her, this time determined to fight all the way to win the woman he loves. Meletis barges into the Sevastos’ house, armed with knowledge which threatens all the family members.

At the Sevastos house, everyone is in shock by Meletis’ revelations, and things seem to be getting out of control. Standing before Dukas and Annette, Meletis states the reason which caused him to come back, and demands something from the two of them which they find very difficult to satisfy.
Asimina visits the house where she grew up, trying to escape from the mess in the Sevastos’ house, and find some peace of mind. Eleni comforts her, and after a long time her agony subsides a little. That same night, Droso, being all alone in her hiding place, encounters unexpected problems with her pregnancy. Pinelopi finds it impossible to cope with the truth which Meletis has revealed, and decides to take her life into her own hands. At that same time, Tollias makes an announcement to his fellow villagers, which will completely change the rules of the game.
