Plain of Thessaly 1958… Three sisters. One of them is forced to marry against her will. A rape. A murder and a big secret.
Eleni (Maria Kitsou), Asimina(Elli Trigou) and Droso (Danai Michalaki), after their father’s death are trying to survive in the tough patriarchical society ot the Thessalian plain. Dukas (Leonidas Kakouris), is the major land owner of the area. He wants to marry his son Sergios (Andreas Konstantinou), with Eleni, the eldest of the three sisters. Eleni accepts the proposal, although very unwillingly, because it is the only way the sisters can pay the debts they owe.
On the wedding night the three sisters will have blood on their hands. They kill the groom who is trying to rape the youngest sister. They all swear to carry the secret to their grave. The corpse is however discovered and the local society will be devastated. The game has now changed.
Eleni, Asimina and Droso must now do everything in their power to keep the truth from coming to light.Will they succeed ? The all-powerful family of the victim is searching for the real murderer and are set upon getting revenge.

In the previous episode we saw that Voskaris and the prison inmates turn Eleni’s life into a nightmare, forcing her to spend her days in solitary confinement. Nikiforos and Asimina are steadily making way as the most recognised couple of the Sevastos’ house. Droso packs her belongings and leaves Diafani in search of a better life.
Miltiades cannot bear the suffering and agony he is going through and collapses, having to be taken to the prison infirmary. Kypraios settles his pending matters and returns home, planning to face Nestor for the last time before leaving Diafani. Nestor however has other plans in mind, and the two men find themselves fighting a battle that will have only one winner …

A week goes by and the village of Diafani is still licking its wounds…Nikiforos encounters difficulties when trying to manage the Sevastos family wealth. Some of his decisions bring him into conflict with Myrsini and Konstantis. Dukas uses these last two allies he has been left with to have things done his owher …n way.
Droso is now living in Athens at the home of Anestis, an old friend of her father, who is very welcoming. She gets a job at Anestis’s tavern where she makes an interesting acquaintance. Nikiforos new business proposition to Lambros causes even more unrest to the Sevastos family. Eleni exits solitary confinement and is at last allowed her first visitor.
