Plain of Thessaly 1958… Three sisters. One of them is forced to marry against her will. A rape. A murder and a big secret.
Eleni (Maria Kitsou), Asimina(Elli Trigou) and Droso (Danai Michalaki), after their father’s death are trying to survive in the tough patriarchical society ot the Thessalian plain. Dukas (Leonidas Kakouris), is the major land owner of the area. He wants to marry his son Sergios (Andreas Konstantinou), with Eleni, the eldest of the three sisters. Eleni accepts the proposal, although very unwillingly, because it is the only way the sisters can pay the debts they owe.
On the wedding night the three sisters will have blood on their hands. They kill the groom who is trying to rape the youngest sister. They all swear to carry the secret to their grave. The corpse is however discovered and the local society will be devastated. The game has now changed.
Eleni, Asimina and Droso must now do everything in their power to keep the truth from coming to light.Will they succeed ? The all-powerful family of the victim is searching for the real murderer and are set upon getting revenge.

In the previous episode we saw that Nikiforos persuades Lambros to help him join the Cooperative. That same night the farmers vote and accept him as a member . Dukas removes Nikiforos from managing his business and assigns the task to Konstantis. Will Nikiforos accept this or does he have other plans in mind?

Nikiforos turns the tables on Doukas and Konstantis, and makes them accept his decisions. Eleni goes through her worst nightmare in the hands of Voskaris, and realizes that the rest of her life will be hell. The story moves 6 years later in Diafani of 1965. Asimina’s, Ourania’s and Pagona’s children have grown up and go to school together. Nestor’s grandson Angelos has become Prousalis’ police assistant. Sofoula is mastering the art of midwifery next to Rizo. Tollias was re-elected mayor, and life goes on in the village…
Asimina and Nikiforos have established their position at home, and business with the Cooperative is flourishing, although Nikiforos who has great ambitions seems to worry. The couple’s relationship with Myrsini is still tentative, their main source of disagreement being the raising of little Sergios. Konstantis and Meletis partnered in a profitable business nobody knows about. Konstantis is in a relationship with Domna, the daughter of their other partner, Socrates Themelis.
Miltiadis has made progress in the psychiatric clinic, and Violeta with Lambros look forward to having him back at home. Eleni continues to endure the tortures Voskari imposes on her, keeping Lambros in the dark about what she is going through. Her only solaces are her inmate Fotini, and working in the fields. Dukas still hides in the mountain, but a change of the country’s government brings with it the prospect of dropping the charges against him…
