Plain of Thessaly 1958… Three sisters. One of them is forced to marry against her will. A rape. A murder and a big secret.
Eleni (Maria Kitsou), Asimina(Elli Trigou) and Droso (Danai Michalaki), after their father’s death are trying to survive in the tough patriarchical society ot the Thessalian plain. Dukas (Leonidas Kakouris), is the major land owner of the area. He wants to marry his son Sergios (Andreas Konstantinou), with Eleni, the eldest of the three sisters. Eleni accepts the proposal, although very unwillingly, because it is the only way the sisters can pay the debts they owe.
On the wedding night the three sisters will have blood on their hands. They kill the groom who is trying to rape the youngest sister. They all swear to carry the secret to their grave. The corpse is however discovered and the local society will be devastated. The game has now changed.
Eleni, Asimina and Droso must now do everything in their power to keep the truth from coming to light.Will they succeed ? The all-powerful family of the victim is searching for the real murderer and are set upon getting revenge.
Agries Melisses ep. 44 ~
In the previous episode we saw that Miltiadis tries to convince Lambros not to break his marriage up for Eleni’s sake. Theodosia is now facing this possibility and decides to react and fight back. A new medical coroner comes to town and this upsets Prousalis, because the coroner seems determined to reopen the Giannos murder case. Asimina is having a hard time living in the Sevastos house, and Nikiforos’ novel will make things worse. Tension builds up between the two of them. Kypraios tells Nikiforos about his feelings for Eleni, but soon Myrsini finds out too. Lambros forces Eleni to take a very difficult decision. Will the love one feels for the other prevail and overtake every obstacle ?

In today’s episode, Eleni makes an important decision about her forbidden love affair with Lambros. Konstantis kisses Droso with her consent, but will he also be succesful with his plan to make her fall in love with him ? At that same time Kleomenis’ own secret plans are falling apart. Ourania is on the verge of telling Asimina about the love affair between Myrsini nd Kypraios.
Miltiadis consents to the new coroner’s request, and the exhumation of Giannos’ buried corpse shocks all the Diaphani villagers. Dukas and Meletis are sensing that their crime will soon be revealed and the Stamiri sisters once again feel overwhelmed by the possible consequences of what they have done. The examination of the corpse finally ends, and a summary of the findings is ready. Will Miltiadis’ family finally be justified after this ?
