Plain of Thessaly 1958… Three sisters. One of them is forced to marry against her will. A rape. A murder and a big secret.
Eleni (Maria Kitsou), Asimina(Elli Trigou) and Droso (Danai Michalaki), after their father’s death are trying to survive in the tough patriarchical society ot the Thessalian plain. Dukas (Leonidas Kakouris), is the major land owner of the area. He wants to marry his son Sergios (Andreas Konstantinou), with Eleni, the eldest of the three sisters. Eleni accepts the proposal, although very unwillingly, because it is the only way the sisters can pay the debts they owe.
On the wedding night the three sisters will have blood on their hands. They kill the groom who is trying to rape the youngest sister. They all swear to carry the secret to their grave. The corpse is however discovered and the local society will be devastated. The game has now changed.
Eleni, Asimina and Droso must now do everything in their power to keep the truth from coming to light.Will they succeed ? The all-powerful family of the victim is searching for the real murderer and are set upon getting revenge.
In the previous episode, Voskaris visits Doukas with tempting proposal, which has to do with Eleni. Will Dukas agree to ally with the man he had kicked out of his house years ago? Turning down the proposition will also be dangerous for him, because Voscaris knows a deadly secret about Dukas’ past.

It’s Christmas time in Diafani and the village is in a festive mood. Eleni reveals to Droso what Voskaris really is, and what he has done to her. The two women and Lambros try to find a way to make him go away from Diafani. They decide to talk to the prosecutor Alexis Grammatikos, despite the fact that he is making preparations to marry Pinelopi. Asimina is stressed by Droso’s return and also because Nikiforos is willing to permit Droso to see their son. Her only ally in this difficult situation is Myrsini…
Droso is aware that her return to the village will not be easy. Everyone is afraid that she has come back to claim her child. The only person happy with her return appears to be Konstantis. Domna however sees to it that his happiness will be short lived. Sofoula tells Angelos to ask her parents again for their permission to marry her. Voscaris however sees Sofoula as the means to strengthen his foothold in the village and begins to flirt with her…Miltiadis catches Violeta lying to him and becomes furious, while Meletis gets carried away and once again expresses his feelings for Pinelopi…
